Characteristic
The aluminum tube is a kind of high-strength hard aluminum, which can be strengthened by heat treatment. It has medium plasticity under annealing, just quenching and hot state, and has good spot welding weldability. The aluminum tube has a tendency to form intergranular cracks when gas welding and argon arc welding are used; The machinability of the aluminum tube is still good after quenching and cold work hardening, but it is not good in the annealed state. The corrosion resistance is not high, and anodic oxidation treatment and painting methods are often used to improve the corrosion resistance. It can also be used as a mold material.
