Ordinary insulated wire, also known as household wiring, is the most commonly used type of wire. For a new 100-square-meter home, for example, 200 meters of 4-square-meter copper-core BV wire are needed. 400 meters of 2.5-meter wire, 300 meters of 1.5-meter wire, and 100 meters of 1.5-meter copper-core BV two-color wire are needed. This is for renovations without a suspended ceiling; if a suspended ceiling is required, more 1.5-meter wire will be needed.
